I love this recipe because it is easy to make and the flavors really come out well.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 lb of ground beef
1 carrot diced
1 celery stick diced
1/2 onion diced
can of tomato sauce
can of kidney beans
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon Mexican oregano
1 tablespoon chili powder
twisty noodles 1/2 package
1/2 tbsp of salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
1/2 tbsp of garlic salt
1/2 tbsp of cumin
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 sprig of cilantro chopped
Step 1-dice up celery, onion and garlic and cook in medium skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
Step 2-Add meat to pan and let it brown with vegetables.
Step 3-Once browned, add tomato sauce, beans and a cup of water.
Step 4- let it bring to a boil and stir occasionally.
Step 5- While the chili cooks, bring a pot of water to a boil and cook pasta for about 8 minutes.
Step 6-After 8 minutes, drain pasta and rinse off with cold water.
Step 7-Add pasta to chili and stir well.
Step 8- let pasta cook with chili for about 5 minutes.
Step 9-melt cheese on top of pasta with lid on.
Step 10-Serve with chopped cilantro on top and enjoy.
