Chipotle Steak Bites

"Country fried steak bites served with homemade chipotle sour cream dip."

Serves 4-6 | Prep Time 10 min | Cook Time 20 min

Why I Love This Recipe

Good for Friday nights at home, enjoyed with a beer and a board game after a hard weeks work. Pair with a salad to make it a full meal.


Ingredients You'll Need

2 ribeye steaks (or similar cut), cut into 1" cubes
1 cup all purpose flour
1 packet original shake'n'bake
1 packet taco seasoning
1 L cooking oil
1 small container sour cream
2-3 green onions, diced


Directions

Heat oil in deep pan over medium-high heat.


Combine flour with 1 tsp taco seasoning. Combine sour cream with 1 tbsp taco seasoning. Combine shake'n'bake with remaining taco seasoning.


Coat pieces of steak one-by-one beginning with flour, then egg, then shake'n'bake. Place breaded steak in hot oil until crispy and golden brown in color.


Garnish with green onion and serve immediately with sour cream dip.
