Ingredients You'll Need

1.5 oz. all- purpose flour
1.5 oz. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 C. old fashioned rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter
3/4 C. light brown sugar
1 C. dried cherries
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 large Egg, beaten
3 oz. bittersweet chocolate (coarsely chopped)


Preheat the Oven for 350 degrees

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup. Level with knife. Combine flour, oats, soda and salt. Stir with a whisk.

Milt butter in a saucepan in low heat. Remove from heat and add sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add sugar mixture into flour mixture. Beat with electric mixer in a medium speed. Add cherries, vanilla and egg. Beat until combined. Fold in chocolate

Drop a teaspoon full (2 inches apart) into a baking sheet coated with spray. Bake for 12 minutes. Remove cookie from sheet pan and cool in a wire rack. Serve.
