Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix in a Jar

Ingredients You'll Need
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Chocolate Chip Muffins
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup of milk
Directions
Use a 1 quart, wide-mouth canning jar. Pack each layer. Combine the flour and baking powder together and pour into the jar, then add the brown sugar, and the white sugar. Put the chocolate chips into a resealable baggie, and place on top of the other ingredients in the jar. Seal and decorate the jar, and attach the recipe tag.
Chocolate Chip Muffins
Remove the chocolate chips and nuts from the jar and set aside. Use a large bowl to mix the contents of the jar together. In another bowl, beat together butter, eggs, vanilla and milk. Add the egg mixture to the muffin mix and blend well. Blend in the chocolate chips. Fill each greased muffin cup about 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
