Why I Love This Recipe
Yes, you read it right! If you're not from the South, you've probably been missing out on this food of the gods. As a true Southern belle, ashamed to admit I came to this later in life . . . well . . . as they say . . . better late .
Ingredients You'll Need
1 c. sugar
2 T. cocoa
2 T. cornstarch
2 C. milk
1/2 stick butter or margarine
Mix dry ingredients, then whisk in milk.
Cook over medium heat till thick, stirring often.
Remove from heat and add butter.
Serve over split biscuits that have already been slathered with gobs of more butter.
Chocolate and bread - what more could you want???
