Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe comes from Jenny Monford and was in the Pillsbury 38th Bake-Off contest~

Ingredients You'll Need

18-oz package of Pillsbury Refrigerated Chocolate Chipe Cookies With Walnuts
3 Cups of powered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
2 Tbs butter or margarine
1/4 cup of water( or more if needed)
1 cup chocolate chips, melted
16 pecan halves, if desired

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Remove the dough from the package and with floured fingers press the dough into the bottom of a ungreased 10 or 9" springform pan. Bake for about 14-18 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.Combine the powered suagr, peanut butter, butter and water. Mix well. Add more water if needed only a spoonful at a time. Drop by the spoonfuls over the baked crust and press down slightly and spread to cover the crust. Spread with melted chocolate. If desired you can swirl it through. Garnish with the pecans if desired and chill for 1 hour or until the chocolate is set. Serves 16~
