Why I Love This Recipe

This are fairly easy to make and are like turtle candy except on a crust.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 3/4 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 up softened butter, plus 3 tbsp.
1/3 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips


Preheat over to 350 degrees.

In a food processor combine flour, sugar, 1/2 cup buter and the cocoa.

Mix until it forms a ball.

Press into an ungreased foil lined 9 x 13 inch pan.

Arrange pecan halves, flat side down, evenly over dough and press down slightly. I

n a small saucepan combine remaining butter and brown sugar.

Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture begins to boil.

Boil one minute, stirring constantly.

Pour mixture over dough.

Bake 20 minutes or until topping is bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Do not spread.

Cool on wire rack and cut into 48 pieces.
