Why I Love This Recipe

Very soft, tasty, baked in 25 minutes: chocolate cake and whole hazelnuts, a cake for breakfast and snack easy and fast, without butter and lactose! Baked in an air fryer for a spectacular result in just 25 minutes: fluffy, moist to the right point, fragrant to sweeten even in subsequent days, because it remains soft for several days.

The recipe is one of the most successful cakes, which I prepare many times especially for breakfast or to be filled with milk cream, Nutella, jam. With cocoa, without butter and, in this version, even lactose-free using lactose-free milk! If you don't have problems with intolerances, you can also use milk with lactose or replace it with a vegetable milk such as rice or almonds. If you want, you can also use water instead of milk so you can make water cake. The hazelnuts do not fall to the bottom because the dough is quite dense, if you prefer use almonds or small meringues or chocolate chips!

For cooking I chose the air fryer, because I love it and it gives me great satisfaction! By now, many of you are following me and I am "infecting" you with this new entry in your homes. If you love sweets, try the air fryer crumbles. Of course you can also bake in a traditional oven, you will find all the instructions

Ingredients You'll Need

3 Eggs
100 g Caster sugar
220 g Flour
30 g Bitter Cocoa
50 ml lactose-free milk
40 ml seed oil
1 sachet baking powder for cakes
80 g whole hazelnuts

Whip the eggs with the sugar with electric whips for a few minutes until frothy.
Add the milk and oil in a trickle, mixing with electric whips at low speed. Then incorporate the flour and unsweetened cocoa by sifting them.

When the mixture is smooth, add the baking powder. The mixture is ready.

Pour the mixture into a cake mold with a diameter of 22 cm that fits into the basket of the air fryer. Level it well.

Add to the surface the whole roasted hazelnuts, freshly chopped.

Bake in air fryer at 160° for 15 minutes and then at 180° for another 10 minutes. Always check with a toothpick after at least 20 minutes. If it still seems undercooked, prolong it by a few minutes.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180° in static mode for about 40 minutes, always testing with a toothpick.
