Christmas Morning Casserole

Why I Love This Recipe
This breakfast has been made every Christmas morning as long as I can remember. With different people’s diets, there are now two made; one with gluten free bread and one with wheat bread. Then there are those who eat sausage only and those who are vegetarians. The people who are only-sausage eaters and vegetarians have learned to sit beside each other! They make the best partners (aka my oldest son and I!)
Ingredients You'll Need
8 slices of cubed bread with sage
1 lb link sausage cut in bit-size and browned
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 ¼ cups milk
¾ t dry mustard
Beat eggs, milk, mustard together and pour over bread, sausage and grated cheese.
Refrigerate overnight in large ovensafe pan/dish.
In the morning:
Combine ½ milk and 1 can cream of mushroom soup over mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for an hour or until dry in the center (not saucy)
