Christmas Pickles

Why I Love This Recipe
My Mom gave me this recipe. These are great and very colorful.
Ingredients You'll Need
8 c sliced cukes
1 lg thinly sliced onion
3 small thinly sliced carrots
1 c sliced celery
1 sweet red pepper sliced
Place veggie in colander and drain 30 minutes.
Brine
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 c sugar
1 1/2 c vingar (white)
1 tsp celery seed
Directions
Mix until sugar is dissolved. Combine brine with veggies and pack in cold jars. Close tightly and place in fridge. Ready in 3 weeks. Enjoy!!
