Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe repurposes festive Christmas pudding into delightful truffle confections, merging tradition with modern dessert trends.

Ingredients You'll Need

300g leftover Christmas pudding
100g dark chocolate, melted
50g cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp brandy or orange juice (optional, divided)
100g dark chocolate, for coating
50g white chocolate, for decorating
Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

Directions

In a bowl, crumble the Christmas pudding into small pieces.

Add the softened cream cheese and melted dark chocolate, mixing until incorporated.

Optionally, add 1 tbsp of brandy or orange juice for flavor and additional moisture. Mix thoroughly.

Form rounds of approximately 20 grams each and place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Place in the freezer for 20 minutes to firm.

Melt dark chocolate for coating, and dip the chilled pudding balls, ensuring they're fully covered. Place back on the sheet to set.

Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the truffles for decorative finishing.

Optionally, sprinkle with edible glitter or sprinkles right after applying the white chocolate.

Allow to set completely before serving.

Pairs Well With
