Cinnamon Cake
THis is my sons favorite cake. I have to make it every shabbos(sabbath) or I'm in the doghouse. I got this recipe from a friend in NY who rightfully said once you make it it's hard to make your family try something different.
Ingredients You'll Need
4 eggs
2 sticks margarine
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups sugar
3 cups flour
1 cup coffee rich (or soymilk)
Filling: 4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions
mix ingredients in the order listed above.When you are adding the flour do it 1 cup @ a time with 1/3 cup of the coffee rich.
Pour 2/3 of the batter in the bundt pan then put in the cin/sugar combi, then add the rest of the batter. Take a knife a cut thru the cake in a swirly pattern. bake, cool completely then put on a cake plate.
