Why I Love This Recipe
My grandma would make these cookies every year for Christmas. They were my very favorite Chritsmas treat and I would dash into the kitchen, grabbing a few when we would arrive at her house on Christmas Eve. When I was 15, she finally took me into her kitchen and we made the cookies together. That was over 30 years ago and I still make her Cinnamon Logs every year for Christmas. Now, I have my own children in the kitchen with me and they love these delicious cookies just as much as I do. I'm glad they are carrying on the tradition my Grandma began so many years ago in her tiny, warm, welcoming kitchen that smelled of cinnamon every Christmas.
