Ingredients You'll Need
4 cups chopped clams with juice (fresh or canned)
3 medium potatoes, diced
1 medium onion, chopped

4 slices bacon, chopped
2 cups heavy cream
4 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large pot, cook bacon until crisp; remove and set aside.
In bacon fat, sauté onion and celery until soft.
Add potatoes, clams with juice, and thyme; bring to a simmer.
Cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
Stir in butter and heavy cream; heat through but do not boil.
Season with salt and pepper; garnish with bacon before serving.
