Why I Love This Recipe
I remember going in Grams house and the amber glass candy dish where she always seemed to have fudge.
Ingredients You'll Need
1/3 C. Cocoa
1/8 tsp. Salt
1/4 C. Butter
3 C. Sugar
1 1/2 C. Milk
1 tsp. Vanilla
Combine cocoa, sugar, salt and milk; bring to a bubbly boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
Reduce to medium heat; boil without stirring to a soft ball.
Remove from heat, add butter and vanilla.
Do not stir.
Allow fudge to cool to room temperature.
Beat until thickens.
VARIATION: 4 or 5 Tbs. peanut butter may be added if you like peanut butter fudge.
