Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

1 (16-oz.) pkg. fresh cranberries
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur

Directions

Wash cranberries and drain well. Place cranberries in an ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking dish; sprinkle with the sugar. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let cool. Stir in Grand Marnier. Chill until ready to serve.

I usually also add some fresh orange zest at the time I add the sugar. I also like to add a little fresh orange zest at the same time I add the Grand Marnier. This keeps for a VERY long time, and even freezes well. It is GREAT with warm poundcake, ice cream, served over a block of cream cheese with crackers as an appetizer.....the list goes on and on!!!

The alcohol DOES NOT burn off here, so if anyone has issues with alcohol.......

But it is absolutely DELICIOUS!
