Why I Love This Recipe

Lemon and garlic are a classic flavor combination that adds brightness and depth to this creamy pasta dish.

Ingredients You'll Need

4 oz fettuccine pasta
1 chicken breast, sliced into strips
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Zest of 1/2 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the chicken strips over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Allow the sauce to thicken for 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and stir to coat it with the creamy lemon garlic sauce.

Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.
