Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe came from the February 27th edition of the ST Louis post dispatch, I also found it online at taste of home.

Ingredients You'll Need

3 cups milk or water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
2 large bananas, sliced
2 tablespoons peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

In a large saucepan, bring milk and salt to a boil. Stir in oats; cook for 1-2 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat.

Stir in the bananas, peanut butter and vanilla . Yield: 4 servings.

I added some sugar to this oatmeal. It was different!
