Crunchy Oaty cookies

Why I Love This Recipe
This is a twist on a recipe in a magazine that was sent to my daughter.
Ingredients You'll Need
50g caster sugar
100g soft butter
1 egg
1tsp vanilla extract
125g self raising flour
70g oats
Directions
Put the sugar and butter into a bowl, mix until the mixture is fluffy. Break the egg into a cup and whisk add half if it to the butter mixture and beat together. Add the vanilla extract and flour, mix until you have a sticky mixture. Break the dough into 6 evenly sized balls. Put the oats onto a plate and roll the balls in the oats then place on a pre-greased oven tray, squash down slightly with the plam of your hand. Place in a pre-heated oven (180°) for 12-15 mins or until golden.
