Cuban Mojito - Pedro S. - Cash
Why I Love This Recipe
Mojito (/moʊˈhiːtoʊ/; Spanish: [moˈxito]) is a traditional Cuban highball. Traditionally, a mojito is a cocktail that consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime juice, soda water, and mint. Its combination of sweetness, citrus, and herbaceous mint flavors is intended to complement the rum, and has made the mojito a popular summer drink
Ingredients You'll Need
1 oz lime juice, (roughly 1/2 large lime, juiced)
1 tsp sugar
5 mint leaves (preferably spearmint)
2 oz white rum
Combine the lime juice, sugar, and mint leaves in a glass. Muddle with a muddler or the back of a wooden spoon, until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the rum and mix.
Pour the mixture over ice.
