Why I Love This Recipe

My cousin Cynthia makes these decadent brownies that are so crazy rich. I think they are the first dessert that I could only eat half of! I didn't change much in keeping with the title of the richest dessert I have ever had, but cut back on some of the sweetness

Ingredients You'll Need

1 c butter
2 c sugar
1/2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
pinch salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
2 c pecans, chopped
1/2 c butter, melted
1/3 c unsweetened cocoa powder
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 c milk
4 c mini marshmallows

Grease and flour 9x12 baking pan

Melt 1 c butter, remove from heat

Stir together sugar, cocoa powder and salt

Add sugar mixture to melted butter

Stir in eggs and vanilla

Add flour and pecans, stirring until completely combined

Spread into baking pan

Cook at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

Sprinkle marshmallows over hot cake

Let cake stand for 10 to 15 minutes, then spread frosting over

When cool, cut into squares

In medium saucepan, melt ½ C butter over low heat

Stir in cocoa, then powdered sugar

Add milk and stir until smooth

Continue to add powdered sugar until frosting is thick enough to spread
