Daniel's Delicious Egg Rolls

Why I Love This Recipe
Crunchy and fun to eat!
Ingredients You'll Need
3 scallions (chopped)
1 bag of coleslaw mix that you find in the produce section
salt
Garlic powder
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons peanut or vegetable oil (plus more, for frying)
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
1 lb ground pork/chicken/turkey
1 package egg roll wrappers (about 24 pieces)
Directions
Brown the meat (in some vegetable oil) with the scallions until done. Then add in the coleslaw mix and season with the salt, garlic powder, pepper and sesame oil. Once you have added the coleslaw mix, it only takes about 5 mins until that mixture is done. Drain any excess oil from this mixture and set aside to cool. Get your egg roll wrappers out and lay some of them out on a flat surface. Each eggroll should take about 2-3 tablespoons of the mixture. Roll the eggrolls as described on the back of the eggroll wrapper. Seal with a little water once you have rolled the eggrolls. You can fry them in oil for about a min on each side. I like a lot of cabbage in mine, so I often use a bag and a half of the coleslaw mix per 1lb of meat. You can also use shrimp instead of the meat listed above. I advise you taste the mixture prior to stuffing your eggrolls to make sure they are seasoned enough. I never use exact measurements so don’t quote me on those. LOL.
