Why I Love This Recipe

These are quick, easy, and very good. I've even baked them in an aluminum throw away pan, covered with foil in the gas grill on low.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 egg
Dash of salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. milk
6 Pork Chops
1 cup bread or cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp. shortening (I use olive oil, EVOO)

Directions

Combine egg, salt and milk and heat slightly. Dip chops in egg mixture and coat with bread crumbs. Brown chops on one side only.

Place chops in a greased baking dish, uncooked side down. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour. Baste chops with warm chicken broth to keep moist.

Note: I've used flavored bread crumbs and got very good results. Also I poor the chicken broth over the chops before I wrap the pan with foil. They always come out nice and moist and full of flavor.
