Dark and White Chocolate Chip Cookies
Why I Love This Recipe
This recipe is very loosely based on worstcookever.net's "The Absolute Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever Conceived by Man" recipe, but over time I've changed it. One day, I ran out of regular chocolate chips, so I had to substitute with the chocolate chunks and white chocolate chips that we had in the pantry. I've made these cookies countless times, always with a wonderful reception.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 c unsalted butter, softened
1/2 c granulated sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
2 large eggs
approx. 1 tsp vanilla
1/2 bag white chocolate chips
1/2 bag semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
In a small bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars.
Mix in one egg at a time.
Add vanilla.
Gradually mix in flour until just combined.
Pour all of the chocolate chips in at once, and mix in by hand.
