Why I Love This Recipe

These are tasty and easy to make on one of those days you crave something sweet and crispy!


Ingredients You'll Need

20 jumbo marshmallows
1 cup pancake mic
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
2-3 cups vegetable oil
whipped cream (optional)
Sprinkles (optional)
Chocolate Syrup (optional)


Directions

1. Heat about 3 inches of vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350 degrees Fahrenheit


2. In a bowl mix together the pancake mix, egg, and milk until smooth. Ensure the batter is thick enough to coat the marshmallows with excessive dripping


3. Dip each marshmallow into the batter ensuring it is evenly coated. Gently shake of any excess batter


4. Carefully place the coated marshmallows into the hot oil. Fry for about 30 seconds to 1 min, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy


5. Remove the friend marshmallows with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve with whipped cream, sprinkles and chocolate syrup if desired.


Pairs Well With

Vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate or coffee
