"Appetizer/Fried Mushroom"

Why I Love This Recipe

This is a great tasting recipe to make that everyone in your family will really enjoy.


Ingredients You'll Need

10-12 ounces of Button Mushrooms
2 cups of Panko Bread Crumbs
1 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of Flour
1/2 cup of Cornstarch
3/4 teaspoon of Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon of Salt
1/4 teaspoon of Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoons of Black Pepper
Vegetable Oil for Frying


Directions

Use a clean dish towel to wipe down mushrooms clean, remove stems and discard. In a bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper, then add in water to make batter.


Dip each mushroom in the batter, allowing access to drip off. Coat each mushroom in Panko Bread crumbs. Heat oil in deep fryer, to 350 degrees.


Carefully put mushrooms into oil using tings. Allow the mushrooms to cook for about 7-10 minutes or until they are golden brown. Then once done place them on a paper towel line plate an allow to cool before eating.
