Deluxe Spinach-Artichoke Bake

Ingredients You'll Need
1 can artichoke hearts, drained
2 oz. butter
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 large clove garlic
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 10 ounce packages chopped spinach, thawed and
well drained to sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1/8 cup lemon juice
Directions
DELUXE SPINACH-ARTICHOKE BAKE
1 can artichoke hearts,
drained
Spray dish, 8 x 8-inch Pyrex, with Pam. Slice artichoke
hearts and layer in dish. Set aside.
2 oz. butter, melted
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 large clove garlic, minced
Saute until all moisture is gone. Add 1 tablespoon
flour; saute 1 minute. Add 1/2 cup milk slowly and stir until
thickened. Remove from heat add:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Add two 10 ounce packages chopped spinach, thawed and
well drained to sauce; stir well. Pour mixture over artichoke
hearts. In small dish, mix 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup sour
cream and 1/8 cup lemon juice. Pour evenly over spinach
mixture. Bake in preheated 375 degrees oven 15 to 20 minutes or until
topping is bubbly.
