Why I Love This Recipe

We had this with a Finnish Stew. I would chop the carrots smaller and dice the onion going forward.


Ingredients You'll Need

6 carrots
6 medium onions
6 potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk or cream


Directions

Boil carrots and onions for 30 minutes or until tender.


In a separate pan, boil potatoes until done.


Drain all the water from both.


Combine and mash well.


Add the salt, sugar, pepper, butter and milk or cream.


Beat well and serve hot.
