Easy Rustic Fruit Tart

Why I Love This Recipe
This is so easy, and yet it makes a splash at dinner parties. I won't tell your guests how easy it is if you don't tell mine.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
1 21 oz. can fruit pie filling
1/2 tsp. citrus zest
egg wash
sugar
Good fruit filling/citrus zest combos: Apple/Lemon, Peach/Lemon, Cherry/Orange, Blueberry/ Lemon or Orange
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 350
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Unroll one pie crust on baking sheet
Pour can of pie filling into center of pie crust, leaving a 1 1/4" (or so) border
Sprinkle zest over filling
Fold pie crust up and over edges of filling, pleating
Brush egg wash over crust
Sprinkle with sugar
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown, rotating sheet to evenly cook
