We all know the struggle. You've had a long day at work, you've got a million things to do when you get home, and you walk in the door, and instead of a friendly welcome, you're greeted with a demand for "What's for dinner?" There may be a plan or an idea or a couple of quick go-tos, but if you're like most people, your immediate and regular response is, "I have no idea." You could go pick something up, you could microwave something frozen, or you could call and have it delivered. But you know it's going to cost more money, be less healthy than a home-cooked meal, and it probably can take a long time to put together the same quick dinner. But where do you even begin?

Easy and budget dinners always use the goal, but they don't happen spontaneously. To save the most money and still have fast, healthy, and delicious meals each night, it's going to take some planning and preparation. Make a budget

It can be incredibly challenging to know how much you will spend on food for your family. It will be different for every family, but the USDA has some charts and guidelines based on the number of people in your family and their ages, as well as your goal for your food budget (do you want to be extra thrifty, low budget, or can you spend a little more?) Make a budget and keep track of your purchases while you are shopping so that you will meet your budget. If you are consistently going over budget, will you reassess and find out what changes need to be made in the budget that needs more money in the supermarket, or should you minimize what you are buying?

Planning is key

Surely you must plan for the future and be prepared. This planning accounts for a more significant part of your success in manufacturing fast, wearable dinners, and the rest is attributed to you cooking the food. One of the most critical factors in creating natural and use budget dinners is keeping your ingredient list low. It makes sense that a recipe with 15 ingredients will cost you more time and money to prepare one recipe than it has only five ingredients. Also, embrace the pot to instant or slow if you have them. They are great ways to make dinner with minimal preparation and to do it earlier in the day so that you come home to a delicious meal ready to eat.

Begin your preparation by planning your meals. Find some tasty recipes that won't cost a ton and won't take long to cook. Make a menu so you can plan by defrosting meat on the right days and making sure you use perishable foods soon after shopping. Some people like to propose three to four days at a time, while others can go as far as planning two weeks' worth of meals. Think about when you would need groceries again for your next meal plan and move forward accordingly. Make sure you note quantities on your shopping list as well. That way, if you only need 8 ounces of cheddar cheese, you know it ahead of time, and you're not buying a 32-ounce bag just because you're not sure.

Place aluminum foil on a baking tray and spray lightly with olive oil spray. Place the pepper in strips of various colors on one side, slices of red onion on the other hand, and a couple of chicken breasts in the center. Sprinkle salt and pepper over all of it, then sprinkle taco seasoning on the chicken breasts. Pour some sauce over the chicken breasts and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. When done, serve in tortillas with other ingredients or as is, or put over rice with some black beans, corn, and cheese.

A unique touch in a classic dish, this is sure to be a family favorite. Using either pie crust or pre-made cookies, roll out the dough and cut out circles. Place the dough circles in muffin cups and compress them. In a separate bowl, mix the cooked chicken (cook ahead of time or canned chicken), a bag of frozen mixed vegetables, and some cream of chicken soup. Pour the mixture into the muffin tin and bake.

French Onion Sliders

Mix the minced meat with pepper, seasoning mixtures, and some broth mixture. Flatten it in a casserole and cook it until it is cooked. Take the entire end of the empanada from the pan and place the bottom half of the buns on the sliding plate. Put the meat on top, followed by some roasted onions and Swiss cheese. Start with the cups of the sliders, and brush some butter on top, followed by some sesame seeds and garlic salt. Bake the sliders again until the cheese melts, and the cups of the buns are golden.

Teriyaki Rice Plate

For this recipe, you can either buy a bottle of teriyaki sauce or make your own with an online method. Cook some rice, either ahead of time or use instant rice or a rice cooker to make it faster. Cut up some fresh broccoli or use frozen broccoli and steam or boil it. Small brown pieces of chicken with some basic spices, and when the chicken and broccoli have a finish, put them in the same pan with the teriyaki sauce until they all heat up and the sauce thickens slightly. Serve the chicken and broccoli sauced over the rice.

One-Pan Chicken Fajitas: Olive oil, chicken breast, pepper, onion, corn, rice, beans
Mini Chicken Pot Pies: Chicken breasts, cookies, frozen vegetables
French Onion Sliders: Chicken minced meat, pepper, onions, Swiss cheese.
Teriyaki Rice Plate: Teriyaki, rice, broccoli, chicken breast, rice


Directions

Chicken fajitas with one pot

Place the aluminum foil on the tray.
Spray with olive oil
Put pepper strips of different colours on one side, slices of red onions on the other and a couple of chicken breasts in the centre.
Salt and pepper.
Drink at 400 degrees.


French onion sliders

Mix minced meat with pepper, seasonings and some broth. Crush it into a casserole.
Take the entire end of the empanada from the casserole and place the bottom half of the buns on a sliding plate.
Put the meat, fried onions and Swiss cheese on top.
Sprinkle sesame and hourly salt on top.
Bake until the cheese melts.

Teriyaki rice plate

Boil rice
Cut the fresh broccoli and steam or boil it. Small brown pieces of chicken with some main spices
Bake the chicken.
Put the chicken and broccoli in the pot with teriyaki sauce
