Eggplant and Halibut With White Miso Marinade

Ingredients You'll Need
1/4 cup white miso
2 t lime juice
1 T sugar
2 T sake
1 t soy sauce
1 Japanese eggplant, sliced
1 pound halibut
chopped green onion
thinly sliced cucumber
cooked rice
Directions
Whisk together miso, lime juice, sugar, sake and soy sauce; rub 1/3 sauce on sliced eggplant and the remainder on halibut. Cover; chill 30 minutes to 8 hours.
Broil until eggplant is browned and soft and fish is browned and just cooked through. Serve over rice, sprinkled with green onion and cucumber.
