Ingredients You'll Need
1 No. 2 Can diced tomato
2 cups grated bread crumbs -- fresh bread
1 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons butter
Reserve 3 Tablespoons of bread crumbs and spread remainder on a pan. Brown in the oven.
Mix tomato, browned crumbs, salt, pepper and 1/2 the butter together and put in a shallow baking dish.
Spread the unbrowned crumbs on top and dot with remainder of the butter cut into bits.
Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
The top of the dish should be brown and crisp.
