Why I Love This Recipe

Grandma Mary Isom has been making these rolls for decades. Her mother made them for her as a child.

Ingredients You'll Need

2 eggs well beaten
1 1/2 cup warm milk
2 Tbs sugar
2 tsp salt
2 yeast packets dissolved in 3/4 cup warm water with 1 Tbs sugar


Mix all ingredients except the flour.

Add flour. Roll out to 1/4' or 1/3' thick. spread with butter three times, folding in half each time.

Cut into circles

Whip the circle back and forth in melted butter. Then fold the circle in half.

Let stand in pan for 2 hours.

Bake at 400-degrees for 20 minutes.
