Everyone’s Favorite Pulled Pork-Crock Pot

Why I Love This Recipe
SO EASY AND YUMMY :)
It’s not super healthy but if you serve it on a wheat bun with fruit or veggies it’s not too bad. The pork tenderloin is more expensive but it is a leaner and healthier cut. You can get a less expensive pork roast and it will have more fat. I have done this before due to cost and just trimmed off as much fat as I could before cooking. Last time I made it the leaner pork tenderloin was on sale so I bought two and stuck one in the freezer for the next time.

Ingredients You'll Need
2 pounds pork tenderloin
1 or 2 bottles old fashioned root beer
Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ sauce
Whole wheat sandwich buns
Directions
Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker; pour the root beer over the meat. I usually use about 1 ½- 1 ¾ bottles of root beer. Cover and cook on low until well cooked and the pork shreds easily, 6 to 7 hours. Drain the meat well. Return the meat to the crock pot. Stir in barbecue sauce and set the pot to low for another 10 minutes until heated through. Serve over toasted hamburger buns.
