Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

1 10 inch unbaked pie shell
1/3 c butter
3 squares unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
2 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup chopped pecans
1 half pint cream, whipped


Melt butter and chocolate. While this is melting, beat eggs and add sugar, salt, and vanilla. Add the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and beat with a mixer. Add the pecans, pour into the unbaked pastry shell and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until top is puffed up and crusty. Top will fall slightly when cool. Serve with unsweetened whipped cream.
