Why I Love This Recipe

Ingredients You'll Need

3 cups sliced apples
4 cups sliced pears
1 cup blueberries or strawberries, fresh or frozen
Juice from 1 lemon
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice

1 cup rolled oats (not the quick cooking kind)
1 cup chopped toasted walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, light or dark
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt


1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease 8 x 9 inch baking pan.

2. For filling, combine all ingredients and pour into the prepared baking pan.

3. For topping, combine all ingredients until topping is crumbly and chunky. If too dry add a little more melted butter.

4. Evenly sprinkle the topping over the filling. Bake for 35-45 mins or until pears and apples are soft when pierced.
