Famous Brownies
Why I Love This Recipe
I received this recipe from a friend and now make them whenever I need something to take somewhere..otherwise I'd eat the whole darn panful!
Ingredients You'll Need
2 c. sugar
2 c flour
1 tsp soda
4 T. cocoa
2 sticks butter, melted
1 c boiling water
1/2 c buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Frosting:
1 1/3 c sugar
6 T. milk
6 T. butter
1/2 c chocolate chips
Directions
Mix together dry ingredients.
Add wet ingredients and beat together until smooth. Pour into an ungreased jellyroll pan.
Bake for 25-30 min at 350 deg. cool.
frosting:
Place first 3 ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil one min. REmove from stove and add 1/2 c chocolate chips. Beat by hand until it begins to thicken and pour over brownies.
