Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
4 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 tsp baking powder
Optional: 3/4 cups chopped nuts & 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
Blend together the butter and sugar in a large bowl
Add the eggs, one at a time
Beat in the sour cream and vanilla
Set aside
Combine the flour, baking soda, and baking powder in a separate bowl
Blend thoroughly
Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture
Mix well
The dough should be fairly thick
Roll out on a floured surface
Using a large cookie cutter, cut out the cookies
Arrange the cookies on an ungreased baking sheet
Sprinkle with the nuts and raisins, if desired.
Bake at 350 F for 15 to 18 minutes
