Fig Preserves Cake

Ingredients You'll Need
3/4 cup butter
4 eggs
3 cups flour
1 tsp each: allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and cinammon
2 tsp vanilla
1 pint fig presersves
2 cups sugar
1 cup buttermil
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups pecans
Directions
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each.
Alternate buttermilk and flour, 1 cup at a time, beating well.
Add soda, vanilla, and spices.
Mix in preserves and pecans.
Bake in tube pan 325 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
