Why I Love This Recipe

Good with pork, sausage, ham; roast chicken and roast beef too.

Ingredients You'll Need

6 sour green apples, peeled or unpeeled as you like them, cored and cut into 10-12 slices each
2 T. butter
1/4 cup brown sugar (or a little more to taste if your apples are REALLY sour)

Directions

Melt butter in a skillet; add apples and toss; cover and cook on Medium Low heat for 5 or 6 minutes, turning apples twice. Sprinkle on the sugar and let it start to melt, then turn apples again. Cook another 10 minutes till the syrup starts to thicken. Serve hot, right away. Serves 4 to 6.
