"pickles sliced into chips and fried"

Serves 5 | Prep Time 10min PT10M | Cook Time 5min PT15M | Appetizer

Why I Love This Recipe

It fast and easy to make. They are unique and not many people make them

Ingredients You'll Need

25 Sliced Dill Pickles I used the waffle cut but either will work
▢1/2 cup Flour
▢2 Large Eggs
▢1/4 cup Milk
▢1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
▢Vegetable Oil For Frying

Directions

You will need 3 small bowls. Place flour in one bowl, eggs and milk in a second bowl (beat them together) and then the Panko crumbs in a third bowl.
Coat the sliced pickles in the flour, then in the egg mixture and then in the bread crumb mixture. Place on a separate plate until ready to fry.
Continue to do this until all of the pickles have been coated.
Add oil to a small saucepan. You’ll need about 2″ of oil. Heat on medium heat until it has reached a temperature of 375 degrees F.
Place the coated pickles in the oil and fry on each side until the pickles are golden brown. I cooked mine for approximately 2-3 minutes per side.
Then transfer the fried pickles to a plate lined with a paper towel. Allow them to cool (they will be hot). You can top them with salt to keep them crisp at this time.
Then serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Pairs Well With

ranch, southwestern sauce
