Why I Love This Recipe
I ordered a pate plate at one of my favorite Italian joints and love it so much, I went home and tried to copy it. I grew up with Braunschwagger as "pate" so I tried it with that. My friends asked "What is it"? and I would just say "Try it". Low and behold, they loved it. I now cannot go to a party with out taking it.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 lb Beef Braunschwagger stick
8 oz Cream Cheese
8oz Sour Cream
1/4 c Diced Red Onion
1/4c Red Wine
pinch Nutmeg
pinch White Pepper
1c Dried Currants
Directions
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl with a paddle attachment
Incorperate till smooth
Place in favorite serving bowl
Serve with crackers or fresh baguette
Some people even like to make a sandwhich
