Why I Love This Recipe

I had a bunch of teenagers coming back to my house and needed some snacks. This is one of the things I came up with. They have a nice strong coffee flavor. YUM!

Ingredients You'll Need

3/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 C plus 3 TBLS butter
1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp instant espresso powder
1 C flour
(you could add a cup of nuts if you like)

1/2 C butter
1/4 C unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp instant espresso powder
3 1/2 C confectioners' sugar
2 - 4 TBLS milk

Preheat oven to 350F

Melt butter and pour into a mixing bowl.

Mix in cocoa powder and espresso powder.

Add sugars, vanilla and eggs, mix will.

Add flour and mix.

Pour into parchment paper lined 13x9 baking pan.

Bake 30 - 35 minutes.

Cool completely.

Melt butter and pour into a mixing bowl.

Add cocoa powder, espresso powder and vanilla; mix well (this will be VERY thick).

Mix in milk, a little at a time, until you get to the consistency you want.

Spread over brownies.

Cut into squares.
