Why I Love This Recipe

An easy dessert to make, which your guests will find refreshing and impressive.


Ingredients You'll Need

450g Greek Yogurt
150g fruit of your choice (eg mango, strawberry, grapes)
1-2 tsp icing sugar
¼ - ½ tsp finely ground green cardamom seeds
A few saffron threads (optional)
To garnish, soft brown sugar or chopped almonds/pistachios


Directions

• Chop fruit into small pieces.


• In a bowl mix the yogurt, icing sugar, cardamom and saffron together. During chilling, the colour from the saffron will bleed into the yogurt, changing it into a subtle yellow.


• Stir in fruit and divide between 4 serving dishes. Clear glass dishes look effective if saffron has been used.


• If using, sprinkle each dish with sugar. This will dissolve into a sauce when chilled forming a toffee flavour sauce. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Garnish with nuts instead of sugar if you prefer.
