GINGER SESAME NOODLES
Why I Love This Recipe
Our family enjoys many Asian main dishes. Sometimes we need an Asian dish besides rice, this Ginger Sesame Noodle dish fills the bill perfectly.
Ingredients You'll Need
8 oz. pasta, we like rice vermicelli
2 T. toasted sesame seeds
½ c. green onions, thinly sliced
1 T. ginger, finely minced
3 T. oyster sauce
1 T. soy sauce (I use ½ c. orange juice to replace oyster and soy sauce to accommodate David’s soy allergy)
1 T. sesame oil
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. While pasta cooks thinly slice green onion and mince ginger. Put the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a large skillet, add drained pasta, sesame seeds, ginger, and green onions. Toss over low heat to combine all ingredients. Add pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve immediately.
