Why I Love This Recipe

This Green Coriander chutney is again a very popular and versatile chutney, you would normally find this chutney in every household, you can actually consider this as the ketchup of India, but the difference being it is made up of herbs instead of tomatoes. There are million recipe versions of this chutney, but I found this one as a perfect kick to enliven any meal.

Ingredients You'll Need

Fresh Green Coriander leaves 1 cup, cleaned and washed
Green chilli 2
Onion 1/4 cup, chopped
Garlic 2
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp

Blend all the ingredeints in a mixer until smooth, add 1 tbsp water if required.

This chutney can be stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, but it tastes best when fresh.

It can be had as a spread in sandwiches or as a dip with fritters.
