Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe like more I will be posting were given to me from my recently passed grandmother who I loved with all my heart. I want to share all her amazing recipes with everyone and eventually publish a cookbook in honor of her and her recipes.I hope you enjoy.


Ingredients You'll Need

1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup White Karo Syrup
1 Cup Chopped pecan nuts
2 Eggs
1/8 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt


Directions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees f.


In a mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar.Add salt to mix.Get your eggs and Karo syrup and beat well. Then add that to your mix. Finally add in the nuts and mix well.


Bake in a raw pastry shell at 300 degrees f. for approx. 1 hour
