Grandma Clorinda Caproni's Italian Green Beans

Ingredients You'll Need
3 Cans Delmonte Italian style stewed tomatoes
4 cans Delmonte cut green beans
4 cloves garlic
1 small red onion
Grated Parmesan
Directions
Saute onions in olive oil, add a little salt and pepper and Italian seasoning, adding chopped garlic (roughly chopped if you want more of red, white, and green effect) when onions are translucent (don't overcook!)
Add green beans and saute with a little dry red wine or sherry, stir
Add stewed tomatoes and stir
Add peppers if desired
Simmer until liquid is reduced
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top and serve hot, better if sits in the fridge overnight.
