Why I Love This Recipe

this is my Grandpa's favorite thing to eat :)

Ingredients You'll Need

3 cloves chopped garlic
1/3 cup of olive oil
Peeled Tomatoes
12oz can tomatoe paste (Hunts brand)
18oz bottle clam juice
3 tbs Parsley
1 tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Basil
some Thyme
a little sugar

1 small white onion chopped
3 or 4 cans of minced clams (snows brand)

Linguini and bread :)

Chop the Garlic and Onion

In large pot combine mix all above ingredients except the onion and clams

Mash the peeled tomatoes with your hands, add the juice from the can too

In a large skillet saute the onion and clams and the juice they were in with olive oil and a little lemon juice for apx 10 minutes

Add the clam mixture to pot and let the entire thing cook uncovered for a minimum of 15 minutes! Pour over Linguini and serve with parm cheese and bread for dipping! enjoy!!

(I usually make this for 2 or 3, then freeze the rest for another day)
