Why I Love This Recipe

This is a old recipe that I found in one of mom's old recipe books. After makeing it the first time I recognized it as one that my grandmother had made very often when I was growing up. Brings back good memories.

Ingredients You'll Need

1 c. Grape Nuts
2 cups buttermilk

2 eggs, beaten.
1-3/4 c. sugar.

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt


Add dry ingredients to first mixture. Pour into two loaf pans (or three small ones.) Bake at 325 for about 1 hour.
